Christmas is a day to commemorate the birth of Jesus. In the country on Christmas morning, as you know, we fist get the prizes. The gifts can be diferent. Then, we sit at the table and eat the Christmas disches. Our county tradicional Christmas disches is poppy milk, kuciukai, herring with mushrooms, herring with carrots, auseles and cranberry pap. The Christmas has decorations too. One of the main decoration is Chistmas tree. We take a lot of time to decorate this tree. Other traditional decorations are bells, candles, candy canes, wreaths and angels. Did you know that, if you find a spider web in the house on Christmas morning, people believe that, you will be very lucky? So, in many countries peope decorate their homes with spider webs too. Also the Chistmas traditional symbol is Santa Claus. How and other nations, our country children share their dreams to Santa Claus, what do they want to get in the Christmas day. As we know, there are Christmas music too. The most popular Lithuanian Chistmas songs are "Dziaugsmingu Sventu Kaledu", "Varpeliai" and "Tyli naktis". There are Christmas carols too. At summer, you can enjoy these water activities in all lakes, rivers or sea but when become winter, the water gets frosty and you can enjoy it only in the swimming pool. As for me, I think, that sailing, diving and surfing are the best water sports. So, first let’s talk about sailing. Sailing is the sport or activity of moving across water in a boat that uses sails and not an engine. If you want to sail, you have to control of the boat movement sails to change its direction and speed. I didn’t try to do it, but I think that it would be very interesting, but not easy. There are sailing competitions too. Sailing sport is an activity with rules in which people try to win. Human has to be very fast, if he wants to win a competition. The fastest human gets the prize – cup, medal and diploma. There are international competitions too, like Olympics game and other. I also like diving. There can be underwater diving and diving with acrobatics elements. Diving with acrobatics elements is the sport of jumping or falling into water from a platform or springboard, while performing acrobatics tricks. Underwater diving is with breathing apparatus. I think that underwater diving is better, because, in my opinion, it is easer and more exciting, because you can to see wonderful underwater views. When I will grow up, I should try this activity. Now let’s talk about surfing. Surfing is the surface water sport of standing on a board and moving across the top of waves in the sea. I think that this sport is very exciting and interesting, but also dangerous, hard and expensive. Also it is not easy to find and catch big waves. So, these are my favorites water sports.
